Farewell

by Tony on January 28, 2010

This is going to be my last post on this site. I’ve really enjoyed writing but it’s time for me to pursue other venues. My main reason for this change is that I want to get out from behind my computer and have more human interaction.

I’m going to leave my site up for a while as a lot of people come to it and could benefit from the huge amount of free resources on it. I sincerely hope you’ve enjoyed some of my writings and that they’ve helped you progress along your path.

Wishing you all the best!

The Law of Relativity

by Tony on January 12, 2010

The Law of Relativity is one of my favorite laws. An understanding of this law gives you the power to turn your bad experiences into good.

The Law of Relativity basically states that everything is relative. There is no hot or cold, tall or short, thick or thin. “Every thing, every thought, and every act takes on its qualifications only by comparison.” Instead of seeing things in their essence, we see them as they are compared to something else. For instance, I’m 5’10. If I was to stand next to someone who is 5’0, I might feel tall. However, if I was to stand next to someone who is 6’5, I might feel short. By comparing my height to someone else’s, I can feel tall or short, depending on who is standing by me.

When you understand the Law of Relativity, you can really become a master of life. For example, let’s say we have a man who earns a good income, say $100,000 a year, driving through one of the richest neighborhoods in Beverly Hills, CA. Looking around at some of the multi-million dollar homes, he might feel as if he wasn’t as much of a success as he once thought. Now, let’s say that same man begins to drive through one of the poorest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, such as South Central. Looking around at the poverty of that area, suddenly that man’s income will feel like a tremendous sum. The point I am trying to make is that by using the Law of Relativity in your favor, by comparing your situation to one worse, you always feel better. Also, under the Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Radiant Energy, for every amount of energy you put out, a like amount must be taken on. As you feel better about your situation, you are putting forth good energy, and you will be attracting more good into your life. In addition, through the Law of Vibration, this good vibe that you are now feeling will elicit new people, circumstances, and events that are in alignment with it. [click to continue…]

The Law of Attraction

by Tony on January 8, 2010

We’ve all had that moment where we’re thinking of somebody and suddenly they call. Or we’re talking about someone and out of the blue they walk in the room. If you’ve ever wondered why that happened, or how other things like that appear in your life, it’s because of the Law of Attraction. Many people feel the Law of Attraction is the most powerful of nature’s laws because it’s how everything comes into your reality. Once you understand the Law of Attraction, your life can be truly amazing.

How It Works

The Law of Attraction was originally called the Law of Vibration and should still be called that as it paints a more accurate picture of how this law operates. The Law of Vibration basically states that everything vibrates. While you and I appear solid, there are electrons within both of us that are vibrating at the rate of 186,300 MPH.

Now why is this important? Within each of our minds are millions of brain cells. Within each of these brain cells are millions of atoms, and each atom is composed of electrons, protons, and neutrons. Every time you think a thought, it causes brain cells associated with your thought to begin vibrating abnormally. As these brain cells vibrate, they give off energy in the form of electromagnetic waves or vibrations, due to the millions or billions of electrons within them. These electromagnetic waves go out and land on people who are in harmony, or resonance with them and the respond to your vibration. Your brain is literally an electrical instrument attracting to you everything you see in your life.

There’s a process out there that works similar to this, it’s called the radio. Right now there are radio waves being broadcasted throughout the air all over the world. If you were to take a radio and set it to the same frequency as the waves being broadcasted, the radio would begin to play whatever kind of music or program it receives. The same process works for people!

You’re walking around all day either consciously or unconsciously thinking a series of thoughts. As you think these thoughts, the vibrations that you are broadcasting are going out and landing on people who are in harmony with them. When I say your vibrations are landing on people, what I mean is that they are landing on people who have similar brain cells as the one’s you are vibrating. Based on what you’re vibrating, the people are going to respond either positively or negatively to you. For instance, if you’re thinking a series of negative thoughts, these thoughts are going out and landing on people who are in harmony with them and they will respond to you! (usually negatively)

If you don’t like what you are seeing in your life right now, change your thoughts! Start broadcasting something different. If you want more love in your life, start thinking loving thoughts. If you want more kindness in your life, start thinking kindly! These thoughts will attract people who are in harmony with them. Also, under the Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Radiant Energy, for every amount of energy you put out, a like amount must be taken on! So it behooves you to start thinking positively. The power of your subconscious mindIf you want to know why your life is the way it is, and what you can do to change it, then I would recommend Joseph Murphy’s The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. As it’s been said that over 90% of what you do is subconscious; you drive to work the same way every day, put your clothes on the same way every day, brush your teeth the same way every day, and so on… It’s important to know how your subconscious mind works and what you can do to have it create the results you want to see in your life.

Instead of giving you a big explanation of the book, I’m going to quote parts of it and give you some affirmations to begin improving your life now.

“Your subconscious mind is like a bed of soil that accepts any kind of seed, good or bad. Your thoughts are active; they are the seeds. Negative, destructive thoughts continue to work negatively in your subconscious mind. Sooner or later, they will emerge and take shape as an outer experience that corresponds to their content.”

“Everything that has happened to you happened because of thoughts impressed on your subconscious mind through belief. If you have communicated wrong or distorted concepts to your subconscious mind, it is of the most urgent importance to correct them. The sure way to do this is by repeatedly giving your subconscious mind constructive, harmonious thoughts. As these are frequently repeated, your subconscious accepts them. In this way, you can form new, healthier habits of thought and life, for your subconscious mind is the seat of habit.” [click to continue…]

Increasing Efficiency

by Tony on January 6, 2010

Here’s some changes I recently began implementing to improve my life. Hopefully some of them can help you as well.

1. Turning my cell phone off

I get so many calls a day about all kinds of things; neighbors needing help with their groceries, friends needing advice, business calls, friends calling to make plans, women calling to chit chat, and much more. On top of that, people call me at all times of night; 1:00AM, 2:00AM, etc. with so-called emergencies that are hardly ever serious. All of these calls were becoming rather inconvenient and I knew something needed to be done. Every time I would sit down to meditate, write, or even sleep, someone would call me with something.

So what did I do? I simply turned the ringer of my cell phone off. As Occam’s Razor says, “The simplest answer is usually the correct one.” This new method accomplishes three main things. First, it stops me from being interrupted while I’m in the middle of whatever I’m focusing on. Second, it gives me the chance to assess what I’m going to say instead of just reacting to whoever is on the phone at the moment. And third, it allows me to batch call everyone back when it’s convenient for me to do so.

Now many people might be horrified at the thought of turning their cells phones off. Also, some of my readers might be parents who have kids that might need to get a hold of them. Unless it’s something you think is urgent, an emergency, or of value, let the call go to your voicemail until it’s convenient for you to respond back. There is no need for you to be on twenty-four notice for the world. A simple voicemail greeting can save you a ton of time. Here’s the one I use: “Why are you calling me?!?! Just kidding. I’m either working, sleeping, or away from my phone so leave me your name, number, and a brief message and I’ll get back to you when I can. Thanks.” [click to continue…]
