Affirmations I Use

by Tony on December 19, 2008

Here are some affirmations I use to stay healthy and on top of my game. Also, some of these are to build new beliefs that I would like to see operate in my life. Sometimes within a week, I’ll already start to see huge improvements with affirmations I just started doing.

For staying connected:
“I am connected to the Source.” “I am connected to Life.” “I am connected to abundance,” Anytime I feel down or don’t feel 100% I always say those first two. Right away I feel good and my stomach relaxes as I feel this energy go through my body.

Physical Appearance:
“My nose is now perfect in every way.” I had some issues with my nose early on in life which led to me getting a nose-job. I still had some issues with my nose that I wanted to clear up (breathing and look wise), so I began telling myself this and imaging how I would like my nose to look like. The results have been great and I love how my nose looks!

By the way that same process works for ANYTHING. “My body is now perfect in every way. My breasts are now perfect in every way. My legs are now perfect in every way.” Use that affirmation for whatever you like and see your desired outcome. It will come to pass.

Here are some other ones I use for my physical appearance. “My teeth are straight, white, shiny, and healthy”. After I started using this my teeth became SO white. It’s amazing what the mind can do. “My abs and body look and feel great.” I’ve recently lost a few pounds and my body is becoming much more toned. As long as I stay on track with my workouts, I will post pictures of the results from my thirty day plan. “My hair always looks great. I wear amazing clothes of the latest fashion and trends.”

Sleeping:
I use to wake up all the time while sleeping so I began telling myself “I fall asleep easily and sleep peacefully throughout the night”. What do you think happened? Sure enough, I now fall asleep easily and sleep peacefully throughout the night.

Women:
“I make the right decisions and choices with women.” That one is pretty self-explanatory.

Emotional Mastery:
“I’m happy.” “I’m peaceful.” “I am grateful for all the good things in my life.” “I am content.” “I am patient.” “I am calm.” “I am relaxed.” “I’m cool” “I’m fun” Start saying whatever it is you would like to be. You will become it.

Sex Life: “My sex life is amazing.” “Sex comes to me so easily.” “My sex life is healthy, good, liberating, and fun.” “I enjoy having healthy sex on a regular basis.”

Past hurts: “I release and forgive any and all past sadness, trauma, hurt, anger, and any other types of negativity. I allow myself and others to move forward in love and peace.”

Surrounding Yourself with Success:
“I am rich.” “I am surrounded by successful people.” “I receive all the proper love and support I need.” As soon as I started using “I am surrounded by successful people”, all these successful people started popping up in my life.

Money:
“I prosper wherever I turn.” “My income is constantly increasing.” I got these from Louise Hay so I can’t take credit for them. I love them both. Another one I use is: “My life is abundant in ALL areas.”

Conclusion
Basically, you can write an affirmation for just about anything. Whatever is not going right in your life, start affirming its positive opposite now. If you want healthier relationships you can say “I now have healthy relationships in my life”. If you want more money you can use “My income is constantly increasing”. It’s really endless what you can do.

Remember, the more emotion that you feel while saying your affirmations, the faster they will become ingrained in your mind, and the faster you will see them in your life. So really feel as if they are true.

If you’re new to this, you might feel silly saying “I am sexy” if you feel ugly. However, over time, as you begin to adopt this new belief, it will become easier and easier to say this new affirmation with power. Also, as you begin to adopt this new belief, you’ll begin taking new actions to make you sexier which will reinforce your belief about this affirmation and affirmations in general.

A last thing I would like to note is to give yourself some time while doing affirmations. If you have a long standing habitual way of negative thinking, don’t try to break that habit over night. It might take some time for your brain to adopt this new pattern of thinking. Also, let’s say you are affirming that you want a new car or man or house in your life. Sometimes it takes these things time to reach you. When you drop a seed into the ground, does it just spring up completely to life? No, it takes time to grow and bloom. The same goes for your affirmations. You’re planting these seeds and some take longer then others to grow.

Sometimes you will affirm something and immediately you’ll see a change in yourself or how you look at things. Other times it might take a week or month for what you are affirming to come into your life. So give your affirmations time. Also, if you’re creating a new belief, such as feeling better about yourself, say your affirmations for about thirty days so that they can really become accepted by your mind. You’re literally creating a new habit, a new pattern of thinking, so give yourself some time to adopt this new belief.
