How Things Will Come To You

by Tony on November 11, 2008

We’re often told regarding manifesting that we’re not supposed to worry about how things will come to us. I’d like to explain this to you on a deeper level so you’ll know exactly how this works.

There are three words I need to explain first; Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent.

Omnipotent: having virtually unlimited authority or influence

Omniscient: having universal awareness, understanding, and insight

Omnipresent: present in all places at all times

These three words combined describe the power of God/The Universe/ Infinite Intelligence/The Divine (pick whatever term works best for you). This great power we’re working with is all-powerful, all- knowing, and all-present. What this means is that you don’t have to focus on how things will come to you but rather on what it is you want. This all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present power will take care of the “how” for you, often times in ways you could of never imaged.

I’ve found in my own life that when I start wondering about how something is going to come to me, it just causes stress and unnecessary worrying. When you start thinking about the “how”, all those little doubts about your goal start to creep up. Instead of focusing on the end result, you get stuck at the little roadblocks and humps along the way. I believe it’s better to have an idea of what you want, focus on the end result, and to begin taking the necessary actions to achieve it while adjusting your course as you go.

So remember, the Divine is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. Simply focus on what it is you want, see yourself as having it, be grateful for its arrival, and be grateful for what you have right now. You’ll be sending out the proper images and vibration to attract whatever it is you want.

Hi, I found this website extremely inspiring! It’s great stuff!

I have a question about this article: I don’t believe in any form of ‘great governing power’, in the sense that I know it’s possible, but the likelihood of one existing, to me, is too small to base a philosophy on.

From this standpoint, do you think that there is another way of explaining that things will definitely come to us if we motivate ourselves to go and get them?

It seems to me that by pursuing a goal you’re definately going to achieve some success, and even if you don’t you can change your goal or tactic. Thus life is made exciting and more worthwhile by the achievements that you have managed, however small, even though your ultimite goal may turn out not to be realised.

This article seems to suggest that a ‘great power’s intervention is why you will achieve ultimate success. It seems like you’re saying that your final goal, however hard to attain, will, eventually, definitely come true because of that intervention, and I don’t think that that’s true. There is still an element of chance in achieving many goals.

I know that you’re putting it forward as a reason to not stress or have doubts, but you can do that with self-motivation without bringing the supernatural into the equation.
That said, after reading your article ‘everything is just concepts in action’, I suppose if you did believe in a ‘greater power’ it would make you subconsciously more motivated, which is positive even if the ‘greater power’ existed or not.

Curious as to your response.

Thanks for reading!

Forgot to say, I’m just starting my own journey of personal development, would appreciate it a lot if you had a look at my blog http://blanks00.blogspot.com/. Just to get an opinion about what I’ve been thinking. Cheers!

“Hi, I found this website extremely inspiring! It’s great stuff!”

Thank you Blanks00!!!

“From this standpoint, do you think that there is another way of explaining that things will definitely come to us if we motivate ourselves to go and get them?”

Of course. Let’s say your desire is to get in shape. Whether you’re an atheist or Christian, if you go to the gym and lift weights every day, you are going to get stronger. Also, as you read “Everything is Just Concepts in Action”, when you are visualizing, affirming, and taking action on your goal, you are sending POWERFUL messages to your subconscious to go to work on creating this new reality for you.

“This article seems to suggest that a ‘great power’s intervention is why you will achieve ultimate success”

I didn’t want to take away from anyone’s personal power. My goal was to show that for those who believe in a higher power, here is how it will bring things to you.

“I suppose if you did believe in a ‘greater power’ it would make you subconsciously more motivated, which is positive even if the ‘greater power’ existed or not.”

Bingo. It’s one of the most powerful suggestions you can give yourself.

And I like your blog and writing style. I am interested to see what happens in your new journey.

Do you live on campus? If so, you can try this exercise. My old roommate, use to pour a bunch of drinks, play some music, and then knock on all the doors of our neighbors and tell them we are having a party. Almost every day when I would come home there would be a bunch of people partying in our apartment. We would then go from there to the club right by our place

PS – Can I ask how you found out about my site?

Firstly, thanks for reading my blog!!! It means a lot to me knowing that what I write will be read by someone. It’s also great motivation to stay on track.

I see what you mean about using belief in a higher power to your advantage, as such. I interpreted the article as you saying that it was a key part of self-motivation, but I see now that you mean it’s like a ‘useful extra’. This is, of course, from my viewpoint; I respect that others may view it as a key part.

I’m pretty sure I found the website through a google search for ‘achieving goals in life’ or something, but I’m not sure of the exact search term.

This site really cleared up and summed up everything I’d been thinking into something very clear. For that I want to say a big genuine THANK YOU! :-)

Your article ‘Everything is just concepts in action’ is excellent. It explains self motivation perfectly and is easy to read. You’ll have to trust me on this, but I am a very critical person and am not impressed very easily! So feel free to feel good about that :-)

All the best,
