Manifestation Experiment

The car I am manifesting.

The car I am manifesting.

Here’s an easy exercise to get you used to the law of attraction. I got this idea from a talk by my friend Helen Gray.

Grab a pen and paper and write out three things that you would like to see in your life; one small thing, one medium thing, and one large thing. For the small thing, keep it very small, such as a sandwich or a cup of coffee. For the medium thing, make it slightly larger, such as a raise, car, vacation, etc.. For the large thing, make it BIG! Some breakthrough goal like getting a new house, getting your book published, whatever it is that would catapult you to a new level.

After you decide on your three items, I want you to write them on a note card and carry them with you each day. Every time you see your note card, see yourself as having the three items. You could also spend a minute or two each day focusing on your three items and seeing them as put of your current reality. The more you focus on each item, the greater the emotion and belief back of that item will be, and the faster your manifestations will appear in your reality.

On the back of your note card you can write an affirmation to help with your manifesting. Here are a few that could work:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (for my Christian readers)
“I can do all things through God who strengthens me”
“I can do all things”
“The universe is making my manifestations a reality”

Give yourself as much time as is needed to make your manifestations a reality. There is no need to rush anything. When you plant a seed or plant outside, you don’t go and scream at it to hurry up and grow. You give it the time, energy, attention, water, and sunlight to make it grow and bloom beautifully. Please do the same for your intentions.

Here are my 3 items:
Small – 6 pack abs
Medium – Teaching a class
Large – BMW 650i Convertible

I know for something small I said something really small like a coffee or sandwich but I really want my abs back so I’m going to focus on that J Plus, I’ve done this exercise before and managed to manifest a sandwich immediately in the past. Manifesting abs is something small and easy for me. For my medium item, I want to take my teaching to the next level, so I’m focusing on teaching a class. Lastly, for my large item I said a BMW 650i convertible. There’s a bunch of reasons I want this car. One, it’s an indicator to me that I’ve reached a new level in my life. Two, I want a new car. Three, I love that car. It fits in perfectly with the image I have for myself.

I want to say one last thing. You are dealing with a power that is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, meaning that the power that created the universe is all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere. Your job is not to worry about how the things you want will come to you, it’s simply to focus on what you want so that they CAN come to you. The universe will bring to you what you want along natural laws of order. For instance, if you’re focusing on your small item which is a sandwich, maybe someone will bring you one right away.

When I first tried this experiment, my small item was a turkey, avocado, and bacon sandwich. I focused on that item and then went and took a nap. Within an hour or so, my workout partner was at my house and told me he had decided to stop off for sandwiches. Sure enough, he brought me my turkey, avocado, and bacon sandwich.

If any action is necessary to bring out your results, you’ll know you’re taking the right action if what you are doing feels good to you. So try this experiment out! And I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
