Rules of the Game

by Tony on December 28, 2009

rulesI was recently at a party and found myself talking to a very beautiful woman (my friend said she was a 12) that I had been interested in for some time. As the conversation escalated, I began to get nervous. Me! Mr. TonyTellsAll was actually nervous. It was WEIRD. One minute I was my normal, beautiful, talkative self, having a great conversation with a stunning woman, and the next minute I couldn’t think of anything to say.

Fast forward a week later and I found myself again talking to another very beautiful woman who I really liked. Sure enough, the nerves hit again and I got clammy and quieted up. It was after that second interaction that I realized two things. One, I had gotten a bit rusty in talking to women of beauty (I was in a committed relationship for a bit). And two, I sometimes retreat into my shell when interacting with a woman I genuinely like. After that second blown interaction I realized that I definitely needed to change things up.

I’m a firm believer that when you put out a request to Spirit, it always answers and sure enough Spirit answered again. After my second interaction I went to Barnes & Noble and while looking around I came across the book Rules of the Game by Neil Strauss. Strauss is considered to be one of the top pick-up artists in the world and is well known for his best-selling book The Gamein which he uncovers a secret society of pick-up artists and transforms himself from a nerd to one of the best seducers of women in the world. As I’m a fan of of Neil’s methods and had success with them, I decided to pick up his new book, Rules of the Game. [click to continue…]

Faith & Hope

by Tony on December 28, 2009

The following paragraphs are from Dr. Fleet’s Psychiatric Principles text and cover the topics of faith and hope. These paragraphs are so powerful that I actually have them posted on my wall. Whenever I find myself worrying about something I go and read (and sometimes reread) the paragraph on hope. It instantly picks me up and puts me in a better mood.

FAITH

“If you have faith regarding what happens in the world – that God rules it all – and that He would not send anything to you that was not deserved, then you will accept what is sent to you and learn a lesson from it. That is faith.”

HOPE

“Another law of the Soul is the Law of Hope. Hope is that positive attribute which tells us that God in His divine wisdom will change things for the better, will bring about that change. Anyone who understands and obeys this law, who knows that much about it, has direction in his life. This individual knows where he is going. He doesn’t always know what is at the “end of the tunnel,” or what is coming. But when he has hope that the Power knows where he is going, what he is doing, that there is a plan in operation, then this individual knows that he is being taken care of. Let’s hope. You don’t have to worry about the negativity that is everywhere evident in the world. You don’t have to change the teachers, or the rulers of the nations. The person whom you have to change is within your own being. It is you, yourself. It is really something when you have to change this “fellow” on the inside. It seems to change the world around you. That is quite a thing to get straightened out. It opens up a whole new life for you.”

How Things Come to You

by Tony on December 21, 2009

While I’m finishing up my next post on the Laws of the Universe, here’s something that I think you will enjoy. It’s a few excerpts from Dr. Fleet’s Conceptology – Phase One text on the power of autosuggestion and how things will be brought to you.

Autosuggestion, therefore, is a method by which you can SELECT from your thoughts an IDEA, or CREATE from your environment an IDEA. You then concentrate upon the idea for thirty-three seconds to the exclusion of all other ideas. Once it becomes fixed in the Innate Mind, the Spirit goes to work to accomplish the required result. You are to KNOW that what you have concentrated upon will come to pass. Have FAITH. Believe it is already yours. That is the method by which the LAW operates.

Remember that the Spirit is in everyone’s personality. Whenever you impregnate it with a reasonable idea, it impels other people to act in such a manner that your idea will be expressed. Let us say that it is right and proper for you to have $1000.00 at a given time. You concentrate upon it, anticipate it, see it coming. BELIEVE you already have it. The Spirit within another person, who has $1000.00, will cause them to react in such a manner that you will receive the required amount of money. If wealth is necessary for you to accomplish your allotted task in the world, then the Spirit will prepare the way, provided it is right and proper for you to have wealth. But if you desire riches because you are greedy, then rest assured that your prayer will not be answered. It would not be lawful. [click to continue…]

There are two main points to this law.

1. Everything in the universe is constantly moving and changing.
2. For any amount of energy that is put out, a like amount must be taken on.

As noted above, this law states that everything in the universe is constantly moving and changing. Nothing stands still. Even your body, while appearing solid, is changing at the rate of something like millions of cells per second.

“This laws explains the truth that everything in the material universe is simply a manifestation of Energy (God). What we know as the material universe, matter, life, or energy, together with what we see, hear, smell, taste, feel and our emotions and thoughts are nothing more nor less than the manifestations of different expressions of Energy (God). The universe as a whole, and in its parts, has its existence in an ocean of motion. Motion is the only manifestation of Energy (God). Change is its only attribute, and because of it comes all that is apparent to our material senses.”

There are two main types of energy; potential and kinetic. A rock on the edge of a cliff would possess potential energy. If I were to kick it off the cliff, it would have kinetic energy while descending. Upon hitting the ground and stopping, the rock would possess potential energy again. I’ll explain why this is important in a second.

The next main point to this law is that for any amount of energy one puts out, a like amount must be taken on. This is SO important that I am going to say it again. For any amount of energy one puts out, A LIKE AMOUNT MUST BE TAKEN ON. [click to continue…]

How to Handle Jealousy and Criticism

by Tony on December 16, 2009

This comes from the Phase 3 text by Dr. Thurman Fleet.

Jealousy

“If you are jealous; that is, if being a man, another man looks upon your wife’s body with lust in his eye, know that he never actually sees your wife. Your wife is not a body. She is a Soul, and mortal eye cannot see the Soul. Should this same man look at your beautiful car with desire in his eyes, do you become jealous, disturbed, angry? Of course not, but rather you feel complimented. You delight in having the multitude admire and desire your attractive car. It too has a body. One must use his god-given reason and intelligence and evaluate things correctly.

If your wife’s affection turns towards another after you once owned it completely, then know that through some fault of your own you lost it. Why did you lose your wife’s affection? Ask yourself, for surely you know. What are you to do in such a case? Win her back if you want her. If not, then mentally let her go and know this truth. If you feel that your happiness depends upon some person, place, or thing, then you are pitifully deluded. Happiness is inherent in the Soul and always comes from within.” (I bolded that sentence for emphasis)

Criticism

“Next comes Criticism. Are you carrying around a heavy bundle labeled Criticism? If so, then regardless of what you see, or whom you come into contact with, you will utilize this weapon whenever you can. It is a habit. You will be inclined to find fault, pick to pieces, undermine, and otherwise state your opinion in a detrimental way. Be smart. Know that God rules the universe, and He has given to individuals their peculiarities, quirks of personality, and idiosyncrasies. Learn to adapt yourself to individual differences. Accept people as they are unless, when indicated, you can, through constructive criticism or instruction, assist another in his evolution. God made each individual as he is for a purpose, so do not find fault but rather ADAPT YOURSELF.”
