Rules of the Game

rulesI was recently at a party and found myself talking to a very beautiful woman (my friend said she was a 12) that I had been interested in for some time. As the conversation escalated, I began to get nervous. Me! Mr. TonyTellsAll was actually nervous. It was WEIRD. One minute I was my normal, beautiful, talkative self, having a great conversation with a stunning woman, and the next minute I couldn’t think of anything to say.

Fast forward a week later and I found myself again talking to another very beautiful woman who I really liked. Sure enough, the nerves hit again and I got clammy and quieted up. It was after that second interaction that I realized two things. One, I had gotten a bit rusty in talking to women of beauty (I was in a committed relationship for a bit). And two, I sometimes retreat into my shell when interacting with a woman I genuinely like. After that second blown interaction I realized that I definitely needed to change things up.

I’m a firm believer that when you put out a request to Spirit, it always answers and sure enough Spirit answered again. After my second interaction I went to Barnes & Noble and while looking around I came across the book Rules of the Game by Neil Strauss. Strauss is considered to be one of the top pick-up artists in the world and is well known for his best-selling book The Gamein which he uncovers a secret society of pick-up artists and transforms himself from a nerd to one of the best seducers of women in the world. As I’m a fan of of Neil’s methods and had success with them, I decided to pick up his new book, Rules of the Game.

Rules of the Game

Rules of the Game is kind of like three books put into one. First, there’s the Stylelife Challenge which is a “simple, easy-to-follow guide to approaching and attracting women of quality. Though it is designed for the hardest cases, it has also been proven to work for men who are already successful with women.” I fall into the latter category. I’ve had great success with many women and want to take my game to a higher level. The Stylelife Challenge is a “monthlong workout program for your social, attraction, dating, and seduction skills.”

Strauss does an INCREDIBLE job of putting this program together. Everything from how you talk, to stand, to overcoming approach anxiety, to openers, to overcoming limiting beliefs, is all covered in his program. On top of everything I just mentioned, there’s a ton of great bonuses such as an amazing mind shaping audio exercise along with free videos you receive every few days as you work throughout the program.

The objective of the challenge is to get a date within thirty days. “You win when, at any point between Day 1 and Day 30, you get a date.” Luckily for me I happened to win within my first two days of starting this program :)

Along with the Stylelife Challenge are the Routines Collection and the Style Diaries. The Routines Collection is basically a set of scripts you can use for meeting and interacting with women. I’m anxious to get to this part of the book so I can begin putting these into effect. The Style Diaries are real in-field stories of men using Style’s methods and having success with them.

For $16.99, this book DEFINITELY packs a wallop! I’d highly recommend it to my male readers who would like to improve their interactions with the opposite sex. Whether you’re a seasoned vet of the game, or just starting out, there’s something in this book for you.
