The Strangest Secret

by Tony on January 9, 2009

Here is an amazing recording done by Earl Nightingale, the “Dean of Motivation”. For those that might not know who Nightingale is, he was a motivational speaker, radio broadcaster, and co-founder of the hugely successful Nightingale-Conant company which was “one of the driving forces behind the massive mainstream expansion of the self-improvement industry in the mid-20th century.”

According to Nightingale’s site, his radio program “Our Changing World, was the most highly syndicated radio program of it's time, spanning more than 40 years. Earl Nightingale was heard daily, across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Bahamas, Guam, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, South Africa, the Armed Forces Radio, and thirty countries overseas, earning him a place in the hallowed Radio Hall of Fame.”

Nightingale’s recording “The Strangest Secret” was the first non-music recording to receive a gold record as it sold over a 1,000,000 copies. The recording does a great job of illustrating why some men succeed while others don’t, how “you become what you think about most” (Nightingale dubbed that phrase), the true power of your mind, why men don’t use theirs, a 30 day experiment for you to try, and much more.

The truth in Nightingale’s message really comes across.

You’re welcome Raj! And yes, you’re right. I even started doing Nightingale’s 30 Day Experiment after watching it :)
