Tony’s Law

by Tony on December 21, 2008

“Whatever can go right will go right.” Or “If there's more than one possible outcome of a job or task, and one of those outcomes will result in success or a desirable consequence, then somebody will do it that way."

I came up with this while walking through Barnes and Noble the other day and saw the book Murphy’s Law. The first thing I thought to myself was “Fu** Murphy’s Law! Tony’s law is operating from here on out!”

For those unfamiliar with Murphy’s Law it basically states that “Whatever can go wrong will go wrong”. I often hear people quoting it when something bad happens, “Oh that’s just Murphy’s Law”. In my opinion, this is a horrible mindset to have. To assume that the worst is going to happen in every situation just sets you up for failure and disappointment. Thinking negatively like this can also have a very adverse affect on your health, well-being, nervous system, and state of mind.

Let’s try Tony’s Law instead. “Whatever can go right will go right.” To assume the best is going to happen does a few things: 1) It gives you the confidence to go after what you want. 2) On a vibratory level, it keeps you in a positive vibration to attract what you want. And 3) On a physical level you feel good and relaxed as you go throughout your day.

Here is an easy way to put Tony’s law into affect. Whenever you are going to do something important (or unimportant too if you like), visualize from start to finish what it would look like if the entire process went perfectly. I mean PERFECTLY.

For instance if I was to go and approach a beautiful woman for her phone number (which I often do), I would visualize in my head me walking up confidently to her, her being instantly attracted to me, us talking, laughing, and having a good time, her enthusiastically giving me her number, and then me walking away happily with it Just the thought of that puts me at ease and allows me to go get women’s numbers when I want to. It keeps me confident, relaxed, and allows me to stay in the moment and enjoy my time with the woman I am speaking to.

So try it for the next thing that comes up. See it going perfectly in your head. Feel good about the end result as if you had it now. Sure enough, it will be!
