Here is a great way to get the body of your choice.
First, I want you to cut or print out a picture of your ideal body. Second, I want to you to take this picture and focus on it for 1-2 minutes a day. By focus, I mean to see yourself as having this body. You could see yourself moving around swiftly, walking confidently, lifting weights powerfully, whatever it is that is in alignment with what you want. Third, as you are visualizing, I want you to really feel the feelings as if you had your ideal body now. Fourth, go and take some ACTION to make your imaging a reality.
Remember this, IMAGINATION is greater then willpower. Or Imagination > Willpower. Most people who want to get into shape are trying to use their willpower to do so. What they’re doing is using their will to try and battle against these strong subconscious concepts they have about how they should look and feel. What they should be doing instead, is using their IMAGINATION to send powerful images to their subconscious to create what they want. As your subconscious controls things like your habits, beliefs, and bodily functions, it will go to work on creating this new in-shape you just as it would have continued to keep you at your current level.
I remember the first time I tried this experiment. Prior to the experiment, I always weighed around 155lbs. Being 5’10 and 155lbs was too skinny for me at the time. After hearing about this exercise from a good friend, I decided to put it to the test. I cut out a picture of this big bodybuilder from Men’s Fitness Magazine and pasted a picture of my face over his body.
Every day for about a month, I would visualize myself as having the body in that picture. What was the result? Within two months, I had gained something close to twenty pounds! I want to add in another note. As I had reprogrammed myself to be this big bodybuilder guy, it was very tough for me to lose the weight I had now put on. It wasn’t until I put up a picture of a new body-type, and started visualizing that, that the weight came off.
So try it out for yourself! And let me know how it goes.
Update: As a lot of new readers are coming to my site for this specific article, I wanted to address a few key issues. 1) I do exercise daily. I never said no further action would be necessary. & 2) The purpose of this exercise is to train your brain to see in you in shape. As over 90% of what you do is subconscious, your subconscious will go to work on creating the images you are feeding it. By constantly focusing on this image of your new in shape body, it will send this image to your subconscious to begin bringing it into your life. It will now have you making new and better choices in line with what you are showing it.
Now I know some idiots out there are going to say things like “What if I put up a picture of a dinosaur? Will I become a dinosaur?” The answer is of course not. Anything you do has to be two things; 1) Positive and 2) Logical. While being a dinosaur might be fun for some, it’s illogical.

Are you kidding me? This is one of the dumbest things I have ever read. No offense, but you want a better body? Work hard and it will come. Does anyone believe your bullshit?
Instead of whacking off to Flex magazine every night, why don’t you get your ass in the gym if you want to get strong? Buy Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe, read it, whack off to it if you have to, and start lifting as is described in the book. Report back here in 6 months and let us know how you’re doing on your new lifting program. Good luck!
Ahhh so that’s how it’s done…and here I was thinking that work was involved all along. Doh!
“Are you kidding me? This is one of the dumbest things I have ever read. No offense, but you want a better body? Work hard and it will come. Does anyone believe your bullshit?”
Who said I don’t work hard? I’ve been an avid weight-lifter since I was 14 and train 5-6 days a week.

Is that how you started off?
This write-up is a continuation of other writings I have done on the power of your subconscious and the effects it has on your body.
As a cruiser weight pro thai boxer I find your supposition that having muscle slows you down.
Maybe your 5-6 days of training per week since the age of 14 has revolved around doing a few sets on the leg press and during your 5 minute breaks you read magazines.
That should be ‘insulting’ before the full stop after down on the first line.
Hi Ian,
What was wrong with what I said? Wouldn’t it make sense that the extra weight could slow me down as I now had more weight to carry? I am not trying to attack weightlifing as I now weight-lift and Thaibox.
I want a bigger cock, should I post a picture of a ten incher on my fridge and stare at it daily. I don’t want to turn into teh gay! BTW, you’re so full of shit Tony!
What-the-fuck?
“I want a bigger cock, should I post a picture of a ten incher on my fridge and stare at it daily. I don’t want to turn into teh gay! BTW, you’re so full of shit Tony!”
I said it has to be logical so you might want to start with 4 inches and work your way up from there.
“What-the-fuck? You sir, are a douche.”
Why are you little boys so threatened by my writing? Have you never heard of anyone using visualization and achieving success?
By the way, I have been getting emails from people saying my results are unrealistic. With proper dieting, training, and rest you can accomplish huge results.
Tim Ferris, author of the “Four Hour Work Week” was able to gain 34lbs of muscle in 4 weeks! Does that mean he did roids or is full of shit? Instead of criticizing, maybe you guys should try it first. Everyone from Olympians to world-champion boxers and fighters use a similar method of visualizing themselves as successful (many many times) before it ever happens.
Can I use this to cure teh aids?
You said “34 lbs of muscle in 4 weeks! Does that mean he did roids or is full of shit?” Well yes, yes it does. And you’re naive if you believe otherwise. And you’re still a douche.

As this is something you could never do, instead of showing your approval that someone was able to pull it off, you name-call and get defensive. It’s okay if you feel threatened.
You mean this guy?
“Further claims include that he is an “advisor to more than 30 world record holders in professional and Olympic sports” and once “gained 34 lbs of muscle in 4 weeks”. No possible way to research that first one without names of said athletes. Seems like that would be a full-time job in itself though, what exactly are his duties as advisor? Not sure how you outsource that job. Internet fitness buffs question if you could gain 34 lbs of muscle even while “on”. Which is, apparently, a classy way to say “taking steroids in the butt.” Furthermore, Ferriss claimed to do it with only two 30-minute workouts a week, for 4 weeks and a grand total of 4 hours of working out.”
You are the best!
I don’t think tony is seriously suggesting that looking at a picture makes you bigger/smaller. Having something to focus on helps you achieve your goals. Take something as simple as writing your goals down means that you are more likely to achieve them. As does sharing them with someone else. It makes you more focused and more commited to the hard work you have to do to achieve those goals. It stops you becoming complacent, because if a particular image in a magazine say, which motivates you then you may well be motivated for a short period of time. Placing that image somewhere where you see it on a regular basis reignites that motivation and keeps pushing you twoards that goal. Yes you have to do all the hard work but aspiration, focus, motivation and then commitment are what make you stick to it.

I like this article, I have read many similar. Arnold Schwartznegger used this ‘picture’ technique. He worked hard, used steroids, and believed 100% in himself. The pictures reinforced his direction, his focus. No amount of training, nutrtion, supplements or steroids are going to get you where you want to be unless you have the blueprint in your head, a picture is an outer bluprint.
You have a good site. I wonder how you attract such narrowminded wankers!?
Thank you Tone19 and Jardine! I appreciate your comments, support, and explanations. Good stuff!
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you guys. Since I posted that article my site’s been getting hit with a ton of spam.
Thank you again!!!
Hi Tony. Actually that article is… true. You don’t have to defend yourself so hardly just because so many ppl are insulting you.
hehe). So when they think they could achieve great body (or anything else) with huge amount of work, they’re right. If you think you are shaping your body by mind, you’re right.
It’s all based on imagination, like you said above. In fact, both of you (I mean you Tony, and all the Scepticals) are right, just because of the law of what you think is what you get (something like WYSIWYG editor in mind
Everyone’s happy.

I’m always hesitant of surgery for things like losing weight as I do believe it can be done through proper exercise and nutrition. Please try this method out first and see what happens.
Great points Eoz!!! Thank you for your response. I think you really understand the truth of the law involved.
Ein Kompliment für diese tolle Seite.
Eigentlich bin ich durch Zufall darauf gestoßen und dachte mir,
einen netten Eintrag und viele Grüße zu hinterlassen.
